Supportful organized Lebanon’s AI Agents Hackathon, the first nationwide hackathon where developers competed to build AI agents that solve real problems Lebanese people run into day to day. Co-organized with Develeb and sponsored by Google for Developers' Build with AI, the event pulled together thirteen teams who spent the hackathon building around the "Life in Lebanon" theme: tackling issues spanning the environment, job hunting, crisis management, and healthcare, alongside improvements to existing commercial services.
The crowd skewed younger than a typical hackathon too, with four 17-year-old participants among the builders. The full list of projects and an overview of the event are here.
AWS Community Day 2025
AWS Community Day 2025 organized by AWS User Group Lebanon brought together over 200 software engineers to learn and network. The day included technical deep dives about AI agents, serverless architectures, and MCP servers.
